Tom Gooding has roots in the construction industry at ‘hands on’ level which he believes assists greatly with his ability to successfully engage and work with contractors on all forms of construction project. This knowledge is also applied when carrying out pre-acquisition surveys, defect inspections and preparing documentation for planning/building regulation approval and construction projects. Having ‘cut his teeth’ on traditionally built Cotswold stone properties; Tom has developed a personal interest in historic buildings, something which is supported by the various listed and historic projects the company becomes involved with.

Tom has always ensured the core values of the RICS are echoed in all areas of work undertaken by the practice. Tom has been involved as a Matrics chairman and continues to assist junior surveyors to achieve chartered status wherever possible. In his spare time Tom enjoys spending time with his young family and particularly encouraging them to explore his passion for the outdoors. When not working Tom can regularly be found on his mountain bike, snowboard or kayak!
